The Mississippi River Creative Writing Workshop (English 445-545) presents seven exciting authors in 2008. The workshop will be held at St. Cloud State University from Monday, June 2 through Thursday, June 5. The course offers 2 graduate or undergraduate credits. Non graded S/U only. Class hours are from 10:30 A.M.-4:45 P.M. Published visiting writers Shannon Olson (Welcome to my Planet), Jonis Agee (The River Wife), Marya Hornbacher (The Center of Winter), and poets John Mincezki {November) and Margaret Hasse (In a Sheeps Eye, Darling), will present their writings and discuss their craft. SCSU professor and poet/fiction writer Bill Meissner (Cosmos, American Compass) is the instructor of the course. No prior experience is necessary for this course.
